It was not long ago that the COVID pandemic brought everything to a standstill. Artists were among those particularly hard hit as galleries closed for many months and income was lost.
During that tumultuous time, the South Carolina Arts Commission and The National Endowment for the Arts provided greatly appreciated financial support. The South Carolina Artists Relief Fund also provided a generous award to help fund my work during that time. I remain grateful for their support.

Charleston Gallery Association ArtWalks
The Charleston Gallery Association hosts First Friday ArtWalks from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. They are free and open to the public. ArtWalk dates in 2025 are April 4, May 2, June 6, August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7 and December 5. Stop in and meet our artists during these fun evenings. Spoleto and Piccolo Spoleto Festivals
The 2025 Spoleto Festival USA will run from May 23 - June 8 in Charleston, South Carolina. Now in its 49th year, it has become an exciting and stimulating destination for traditional and experimental artists of dance, theater, opera, music, and the visual arts.
Charleston's 2025 Piccolo Spoleto Festival will run concurrently downtown. My work will be on display in Marion Square for the Piccolo Spoleto Juried Outdoor Fine Arts Exhibit. Art exhibit hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM Sunday through Friday, and 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, rain or shine.
